Wow! Our Lord never fails. His never late but seldomly early, it seems like He does the most work at the 11th hour...trying to teach me something I suppose?
Giving up control. stepping out in faith and coming to do DTS. I had to quit both my jobs and settle with not having a job or way to acquire money while here. I had to become independent very young and live on my own and pay for everything on my own. I grew up and learned responsibility fast and I never relied on God. I always thought I had to deal with things by myself and never thanked God for what He was providing for my life. Coming to Australia I gave up those worldly rights and really had to listen and trust God. I learned that I am never in control of my path but that He is and through Him all my questions will be answered and my worries will be taken away. I gave up my $1200 savings and got most of my outreach paid for in return. I listened to God telling me to give up control of finances and worldly standards of responsibilty and He reminded me that He called me here for a purpose and that was to fall more in love with Him and realize He is the only one who can satisfy me.
I can not wait to see what lessons He brings my way on this mission, and I know that through His holy spirit I can do anything.
Thank you to all my supporters and keep me and my team in your prayers. This is going to be a tough and heartbreaking trip but we know God is going to move more than we imagine and His love will spread across this nation like wildfire.

Calling and Vision
Our number one calling is to follow Jesus.
-What do we put our trust in?
-Where do we attach our hope?
Knowing what to do is not hard, living life with Christ is the challenge.
I recently read an article out of relevant magazine. It talked about how we can have spiritual adventures without going across seas and continents. How we can transform people's lives by being accountants or teachers or caregivers. Our 8 to 5 job can be our mission field if we allow it. Most people classify that as "boring christianity" but it is still radical in many different ways.
We just need to adopt God's heart for nations and people groups across the world as well as in our backyard.
Matthew 21:28-32
“What do you think? There was a man who had two sons. He went to the first and said, ‘Son, go and work today in the vineyard.’ “‘I will not,’ he answered, but later he changed his mind and went. “Then the father went to the other son and said the same thing. He answered, ‘I will, sir,’ but he did not go. “Which of the two did what his father wanted?” “The first,” they answered.
1. We need to agree with God and reconcile ourselves
2. Call others to reconcile
Psalm 45:10-11
"Listen, daughter, and pay careful attention: Forget your people and your father’s house. Let the king be enthralled by your beauty; honor him, for he is your lord."
This verse speaks to me in so many ways. It is telling us to leave all our comforts of what we know or think we know how our lives should work and go be with our Lord and Savior. Praise Him, worship Him and live life completely in love with Him.
You were saved, you are being saved, and you will be saved on the day He comes.
The most I got out of this week is that I need to start setting goals only Christ can achieve. I need to forget my past mistakes and let go of control I thought I had on my life and let God steer me. If I give up my worldly rights God will open up doors for His glory in ways I would not have imagined..
As I get prepared to leave for outreach tomorrow, the most I am worried about is keeping my heart and mind open. Each step praising the Lord, even if I feel like ministries are disorginized I know my God has a plan. No matter where I am or who I am with there is always a way for God to be glorified and always a way to show His love to others. I want to commit to that life and if God sends me to timbuktu, I will go without a second thought because I know His way is never hindering and my burden shall always be light.

Community
Our ministry can become like an idol.
We need to grow through love with our local church families.
I had a one on one with Kel Steiner and he gave me the analogy of our lives and soul is like a burning fire.
I need to keep my fire burning because it tends to burn out once we are home. Most christians have ashes with one little flame left burning and the Holy Spirit must come work hard and ignite it again. If my flame is constantly burning and bright it will push others to ignite their's.
3% of church tithe goes to missions
1 cent of that goes to world missions
1/10th of 1 cent goes to unreached people
He got a picture of a descending star from heaven lighting a torch. We are to keep the fire lit, especially going into outreach.
So I brought up this topic to our speaker. Asking what is the one thing that we should hold onto when we get home to make sure we do not fall back into our old rountines.
1. Seek out older christians that can be our mentors
2. Have a friend you can be open with and confess sins to
3. Think actively how you spend your time with your christian friends. Pray more. Bring God and praise God in conversations.
4. Take communion more often.
- focus on what Jesus did on the cross
- Remember His death
5. Read auto biographies
-great men and women of God
-Use your free time to get inspired
Add wood to your fire!
Always remember if your emotions are not being touched by God then we need to take a second look.
We need to start making habits, strengths and lifestyles RIGHT NOW!
-We should proclaim that we're different and that God has changed us.
We will make community where we are and build a church OF small groups, not just a church WITH small groups.
When the Holy Spirit is truely living within you than you should have no problem worshipping God ALL the time! No problem living a life that is full on for Him ALL the time! There is no point when you get "too full" with God. He is constantly pouring into us, He is constantly teaching us new things and we should be constantly learning new things. Let us never act as if we are full up and do not need God for every situation, let us realize when our relationship has become lukewarm and when we need our fire re-lit. And go pursue it!! Never settle for a flatline faith, always strive for a beating bond with Jesus.

Evangelism
While women weep, as they do now, I will fight; while children go hungry, as they do now, I will fight; while men go to prison in and out, as they do now, I will fight; while there is a drunkard left, while there is a poor lost girl upon the streets, while there remains one dark soul without the light of God, I will fight-I will fight to the very end! -William Booth
Jesus can not come back tomorrow. There is still to much to do and to many people to reach.
"But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare. Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives." 2 Peter 3:10-11
We can actually slow down the coming of Christ by doing wrong evangelism or not doing it at all. There is 90% of christians who do not evangelise at all! How outrages, if I am learning anything by being here it is that we need to spread the good news. God's love is better than anything this world has to offer and we should share that. Why see injustice and people suffer when their freedom is right at the tip of our tongues.
The gospel is given to us so people can relate to our trials and hardships but still love Jesus and learn to overcome those through Him. Our stories if tribulation are stories we should include in our evangelizm and testimonies. People are more likely to open up once you share your heart and past.
Witnessing is not one size fits all, it requires you giving yourself.
1. We need to come across as genuine, believable, trustworthy. As we evangelise we need to create an atomosphere by which people feel, sense, see or experience God. We must oppose our feelings and get them to be God's friend.
Demonstrate the love of God to people in an area of their need.
2. Weneed to come across as friendly. We don't have authority to correct people if they don't feel like we love them.
3. We need to be interesting and spiritually attractive. Alive with Jesus.
4.We need to inspire holiness and reverence for God. promote brokenness to God. Don't come across as harsh but don't be flippant either.
Most people can not tell the difference between being listened to and being loved
Gossip about the Gospel!
The biggest ice breaker is getting a conversation going in the area of their interest. They talk and you ask questions.
Sometimes we handicap God so he can't operate because we want to be comfortable.
The devil temps us to sin because he wants to hurt God.
Knowing God. John 17:3, Hebrews 8:10-end, Jeremiah 9:23
Loving God. James 2:5, 1:12 Live a repentent lifestyle
Connect with people at their level. It's the goodness of God that motivates people to repent.
With faith everything is possible, with love everything is easy.
We also got teaching on athesists, buddhists, animists, pagans, hindus and daoists.
We all will be dealing with each religion while on outreach. So we are going to keep researching and seeing where the best places to realate to these people are at and we were taught to start the converstation with a statement of some way our religions are matched. Whether it's believing in God or Jesus or the resurrection.
There is always a way to everybody's heart you just have to find the opening.
Hearing from God is the basis of faith.
1 Corinthians 6:9
Galations 5:19
Ephesians 5:5
Titus 2:!1
Hebrews 13:4-5
Romans 1:24-32
Revelation 21:8
Mini testomonies
What you were like before God. Proff of how you've changed because of God.
You reap what you sow.
Will you stand up for Christ?

Lordship
Mark Parker (legend)
Com=with passion=suffering
The season for our generation is one of the most lost. The world is waiting for a generation like our's to take back what the enemy has stolen. We need self-control. Even satan believes in Jesus but that doesn't mean he's "in Christ" It seems like we have alot of people who call thaselves christian but don't walk the walk because it's un-cool. Ya people can know you believe but if you actually view the bible as black and white and don't engage with the sin of the world people classify you as a bible thumper. We need to show them a transfomational meeting with Jesus.
God will show His power if we wake up. Love the Lord, shut up and get going.
We should be seeing a difference in christians vs. non-christians
Have you ever thought about how an enemy can reveal your true heart? You can be in a room with people you like and be kind and content but once an enemy walks into your presence or even someone who is socially awkward or a bit "weird" how then do you act? Still out of kindness and love or do you just ignore them and make them feel ten times smaller than they already do?
We were made as image bearers of Christ and rulers in His name.
The more cracked and broken you are the more you are open to Jesus. Ezekial 36
Lord of Glory, make us worthy to possess your name.
If you are not willing to die, you will never rise
Hebrews 12:1-2
"Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God"
Be humble, real and open. The shield of faith is in place.
Lordship of Christ= knowing Jesus, have a heart like His and follow Him
We are a product of decisions we make.
-Who is your mastor?
-What is your mission?
-Who will be your mate?
-What is a disciple?
OBEY- John 8:31
LOVE- John 13:35
PRODUCE FRUIT- John 15:8
When need to stop complaining when we're living through the story. Which means when we're going through trials, temptaions, hardships or missions that seem to be difficult and out of our comfort zones, we should stop complaining and start proclaiming for God because usually the best stories about God's glory comes from these situations.
Turning Point- John 7:37-39
"On the last and greatest day of the Feast, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him.” By this he meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were later to receive. Up to that time the Spirit had not been given, since Jesus had not yet been glorified."
People think God is close when we are good and He falls away when we sin. But He only gets closer when we sin because He wants us to fight that much harder for Him and He will forgive if we just ask and repent but it is our human nature that pushes Him away out of fear.
Where are you living and moving?
Where do you desire to live?
Where do you have the faith to be living?
What do you want? What do you need?
Judgement becomes like cancer on your face. It is ugly and disturbing and only makes you more sick.
Spirit (knowing)- identity, value, significance/destiny, intuition, communion, conscience
Soul (understand)- personhood, ability to relate, mind, will, emotions
Body (seeing)- visible of the invisible, ability to love
True Salvation- Repentance, hatred of sin, baptism, following Him
Getting saved doesn't change our circumstances, it just changes the way we view our circumstances.
Justification:
Grace (power of the Holy Spirit) -James 4:6
Faith (hear and obey) -Hebrews 11:6
The cross (reconciliation) -Romans 5:10-11, 6:6-7
Sanctification (I am being saved)
Philippians 2:12-13
Kingdom of self-wilderness-Kingdom of God-Kingdom of heaven
We should put ourselves on the alter as a living sacrifice.
Wilderness
1. Testing and trials (deutronomy 8:2-3)
2. Will you be willing and obedient when times are difficult, or will you murmur and complain?
(Luke 4:1-14)
3. Will you learn to overcome temptation? (1 corinthians 10:13)
4. Will you learn to walk by faith? (1 Peter 1:6-9)
5. Will you learn to stand, persevere (Ephesians 6:13)
CHANGE- expose weak and sinful things. Bring healing. He wants to teach us about His character and ways.
We will never know our trust in the Lord until we have nothing else.
Responsibilities before God
1. Thought (2 Corinthians 10:5)
2. Word (Matthew 12:36)
3. Actions (2 Corinthians 5:10)
4. Attitude (1 Peter 3:10)
5. Motives (Jeremiah 17:10)
Principles
-humility -repentance -forgiveness -give -submission -serve -faith -thanksgiving
1. Death to flesh
2. Commissioning (Acts 17:28)
Examples are the lives of Jeremiah and Isaiah
Thanksgiving
1. Fruits of the Spirit (1 Corinthains 12)
2. Prepare heart for faith (Philippians 4:4-7)
3. Activate miracles (John 6)
4. Prepare heart for salvation (Luke 17)
5. Enter into His presence (Psalm 100:4)
6. Brings protection (Romans 1:21)
(1 Chronicles 16:7-26)
The cross:
Blood= brings forgiveness (Exodus 12:12-13)
Atonement (Leviticus 17:11)
So on the last day of lectures Mark Parker had all of us gathered and we were going to put Lordship into action through 10 different steps taken from the old testament and turned into meanings in the new testament.

Worth of human life
“But this is a people robbed and plundered; they are all of them snared in holes
and hidden in houses of bondage. They have become a prey, with no one to
deliver them, a spoil, with no one to say, Restore them!”
Isaiah 42:22

Slavery has not been abolished. Modern day slavery is very prevelant but just easily kept out of our local news.
After a trafficking journey that typically involves deception, rape, beatings, and constant threats, victims are often forced to live in confining and unsanitary conditions. Once formally put to work, human trafficking victims can be forced to service from 40 to 110 customers in one day1. Malnutrition, sleep deprivation, as well as emotional and physical abuse become part of the day-to-day routine.
In addition to the abuse, forced abortions and the contraction of STI's, Hepatitis B and C, and AIDS are ever looming probabilities. Life for a victim of sex trafficking is hell on earth. (A21campaign)
There are many different organizations that exist to stop the flow of human trafficking, all you have to do is look.
Just a few that I have found

All these links all have the same purpose behind their website..to get the word out for human rights.
This is a passion God has been revealing more and more to me. There is no excuse for the injustice that happens even in our own backyards!
It starts with us. All you have to do is start getting the word out there. Letting people know that these things still go on today and are not going to change unless we do something to change them.
You can donate money, time, energy or even a 'like' on facebook for the campaigns these people are doing.
"Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God. Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows." Luke 12:6-7
God made all of us with the same love. He does not choose one life over another, he loves all of us equally and he hurts when one of His creations is hurt. But you know what I think hurts the Lord more..is when we see that hurt, and knowing God's love and Jesus giving His life for human worth, do nothing about it! When we sit day in and day out on the couch going to our 8-5 job thinking that our life is nice and pleasent, and we thank God, but we don't realize He provided such blessings so we can go out and show those blessings to others.
True there are go'ers and send'ers, and so you feel content with your 8-5 job and know that going to a third world country to fight for injustice is not something that is your passion, you can still do your part in financial supporting the missionaries who are out of the field fighting phsyically for the issues. Even if it is not in your financial budget to do so, you can raise awareness in your hometowns. Pass out flyers, put on fundraisers, pray for each organization. There is no excuse on the planet that you can use to not be part of the Great Commission.
"There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work." 1 Corinthians 12:4-6
Love Is Indispensable
“Fifteen to eighteen percent of girls under twelve now wear mascara, eyeliner and lipstick regularly; eating disorders are up and self-esteem is down; and twenty-five percent of young American women would rather win America’s Next Top Model than the Nobel Peace Prize. Even bright, successful college women say they’d rather be hot than smart. A Miami mom just died from cosmetic surgery, leaving behind two teenagers. This keeps happening, and it breaks my heart. Teaching girls that their appearance is the first thing you notice tells them that looks are more important than anything. It sets them up for dieting at age 5 and foundation at age 11 and boob jobs at 17 and Botox at 23. As our cultural imperative for girls to be hot 24/7 has become the new normal, American women have become increasingly unhappy. What’s missing? A life of meaning, a life of ideas and reading books and being valued for our thoughts and accomplishments.”— “How To Talk To Little Girls” by Lisa Bloom.:

Birthday weekend
To start off our weekend in Sydney we went to the 6 o'clock service at Hillsong. And it was amazing! Christine Caine was a guest speaker, she started the A21 campaign which deals with abolishing injustice in the 21st century. She is passionate about young woman and human traffiking.
Exodus 8
The plague of frogs
9 Moses said to Pharaoh, “I leave to you the honor of setting the time for me to pray for you and your officials and your people that you and your houses may be rid of the frogs, except for those that remain in the Nile.”
10 “Tomorrow,” Pharaoh said.
God is able and willing
What are the frogs that are in us on us and around us and god says he
is able to set us free why would we want to spend one more night with
our frogs
The issue is when, god is waiting
Are we going to keep saying tomorrow?
We need to be formed and transformed into his image but our lives are
full of frogs
We battle with different addictions, we think we can just stop it
tomorrow, put it off until tomorrow
We create diversions, we get "busy"
We create mental diversions, we fool ourselves into thinking we've
already started by stating we will do it tomorrow
We are no different to pharaoh
The stuff that God wants us to deal with we put off
We live our christian life in fantasy land, tomorrow is the enemy of
our Christian dreams and fantasy
At some point we need to make a decision for today, do not sit in
church day in and day out listening to nice sermons and we still walk
out thinking we will change tomorrow
God will do today what no psychologist or doctor could do in fifty years
Word of god is full of the promise of god
We don't have time the world is such a mess, God asks us "when are you
ready because I am able"
How much do we like the frogs we hang onto?
We put blame on others for our issues, it's "not our fault" victim cloak
Freedoms price tag is responsibility
We're slaves to sin and our flesh
God asks us if we have the courage to step out today
While we're bond we can't set others free
Matthew 6:11
What if I try and it doesn't work?
What if we try and it does?
If we try and god works than we can't play victim card. We have to
step up and be responsible, be mature, and start something newGod doesn't call us to a Christian event to be entertained but to be
transformed and change to His imageProverbs 27:1
We are not a product of time but eternity!
God has counted out days and given us days. We can not guarentee tomorrow
James 4:14
Pharaoh is not God, God is God...meaning WE are not God but God is God
2 corinthians 6:2
Divine timing, plan and purpose of God
It doesn't matter what we did yesterday, last night, last year or any mistakes in the past what does matter is what Jesus Christ did 2000 years ago, the blood of Jesus sets people free and NO sin is to big for GodYou'll never know who you are until you know who He is.
Mark 5:25-29
Your issue seems to become your name
It starts to define us in society but one touch of Jesus takes away our issue and we're defined by who we are in Jesus Christ
My identity is that I am a daughter of the king of kings our issues matter not to Him
With us it stops, we change our future by giving into God today. The next generation reads our new geneology in salvation
Get set free today
My notes were taken fast because she had heaps of good points and I couldn't type fast enough but this is the overall picture. If we take the first step and do not put anything else off until tomorrow then God is going to radically move!

Outreach
So as of now I am half way through the lecture phase of school and the next portion is outreach! I will be going to Malaysia!! We will spend most of our time on the island of Penang. We will be focusing on helping the homeless, prostitutes and youth. I have a team of nine..Sense I am doing an all generation DTS we have a family of three coming, a married couple leading and four singles.
We are starting to do a 30 day prayer booklet and mentally getting ready to face life over there for 10 weeks. But we could use your help as well!!
-pray for the homeless ministry
-pray for a revival in using the youth
-sex slave industry
-refugees fleeing from other countries
-base for YWAM permantly
-our team as a whole
-funds coming in for each of us on time
As well as prayer I still need about $3500 for outreach, if you can contribute there are many ways of going about it
-To do ongoing monthly donations while I'm are here you can do an online website donation at http://www.ywamnewcastle.com/ and select the donations link. You may enter an initial payment with a monthly donation option. There is a email formYWAM will then send you to retrieve your creditcard information to run monthly donations from them.
You can also direct transfer monthly. You are welcome to have this email: accounts@ywamnow.com to contact registration about discussing monthly donation options
Just put my name in a mention and let them know it's toward my outreach. you can make a one time donation to that same account as well
Blessings to all!

Yet I will still praise Him
I will praise You Lord my God
Even in my brokenness
I will praise You Lord
I will praise You Lord my God
Even in my desperation
I will praise You Lord
And I can't understand
All that You allow
I just can't see the reason
But my life is in Your hands
And though I cannot see You
I choose to trust You
Even in my brokenness
I will praise You Lord
I will praise You Lord my God
Even in my desperation
I will praise You Lord
And I can't understand
All that You allow
I just can't see the reason
But my life is in Your hands
And though I cannot see You
I choose to trust You
Even when my heart is torn I will praise (trust) You Lord
Even when I feel deserted I will praise (trust) You Lord
Even in my darkest valley I will praise (trust) You Lord
And when my world is shattered and it seems all hope is gone
Yet I will praise You Lord
I will trust You Lord my God
Even in my loneliness
I will trust You Lord
I will trust You Lord my God
Even when I cannot hear You
I will trust You Lord
And I will not forget
That You hung on a cross
Lord You bled and died for me
And if I have to suffer
I know that You've been there
And I know that You're here now
Even when I feel deserted I will praise (trust) You Lord
Even in my darkest valley I will praise (trust) You Lord
And when my world is shattered and it seems all hope is gone
Yet I will praise You Lord
I will trust You Lord my God
Even in my loneliness

My Prayer
"Since I have my life before me"
Brooke bronkowski age:14
I'll live my life to the fullest. I'll be happy. I'll brighten up. I
will be more joyful than I have ever been. I will be kind to others. I
will loosen up. I will tell others about Christ. I will go on
adventures and change the world. I will be bold and not change who I
really am. I will have no troubles but instead help others with their
troubles.
You see, I'll be one if those people who live to be history makers at
a young age. Oh, I'll have moments, good and bad, but I will wipe away
the bad and only remember the good. In fact that's all i remember,
just good moments, nothing in between, just living life to the
fullest. I'll be one of those people who go somewhere with a mission,
an awesome plan, a world changing plan, and nothing will bold me back.
I'll set an example for others, I will pray for direction.
I have my life before me. I will give others the joy I have and God
will give me more joy. I will do everything God tells me to do. I will
follow the footsteps of God. I will do my best!
During her freshman year in high school, Brooke was in a car accident while driving to the movies. Her life on earth ended but her impact did not. Nearly fifteen hundred people attended her funeral. People from her public high school read poems she had written about her love for God. Everyone spoke of her example and joy. Francis Chan spoke at her service and invited everyone who didn't know Jesus up to the front of the church. There was at least two hundred students who responded and fell on their knees praying for salvation. Ushers gave bibles to each one of them. They were bibles Brooke kept in her garage, hoping to hand out to all her unsaved friends. In one day, Brooked led more people to the Lord than most ever will.
This should be our cry for our lives. We should want to mimic Brooke and her faith. At only fourteen years old Brooke knew her identity in Christ and wasn't afraid to tell people about it. What an amazing child of God, fully commited to Him and fully living the life He planned out for her. How do we want to be remembered? Or better yet how is Christ going to be spoke of through our death? How can we make sure to glorify Him each and everyday that when He finally calls us home..people will say Jesus took the best and I want what he/she had.

Missions
Paul Childers
http://www.photogenx.net/ http://www.sexandmoneyfilm.com/
Voice for the Voiceless ministry. Kona, Hawaii
Missions is seeing the kingdom of God come into power throughout the whole world.
Heart of missions= going to where the gospel has not gone
-God blesses us so we can allow that blessing to flow through to other people. We need to think beyond ourselves.
What chance does the world have if the church is not the forfront of developing vast plans? We have to go and engage and the Lord will give us the power.
GOD THINKS IN MULTIPLICATION
The world can become our playing field! Small things happen through BIG love and if we apply this and go to all the nations.. imagine what changes would happen! Imagine how praised God would be and the miracles and blessings He would perform!
Missions is about our lives effecting other people's lives
"A revival is not a true revival unless it results in missions." -Kel Steiner
Injustice is a breakdown in society. We are called to be people of hope who act in faith.
Hope= attitude Faith= action
Missions is a personal response to Christ. If we're willing to take steps in faith, God will use the abilities He gave us to bless His kingdom.
What do you feel called to?
What has God given you?
What are you going to do about it?
In my life, what am I willing to do? Stepping, obeying and following
1. Abrahamic covenant: Genesis 12:1-3
-God is generally specific, He shows us a specific but a general direction. Everything flows from Abraham's obedience. God's heart for a nation is for it to reach all other nations.
2. Great Comission Matthew 28:18-20 Mark 16:15
3. Revelation 7:9 Isaiah 52:10
Compassion is the heart in which we do missions.
empathy: feeling with people
-It enables us to sustain self sacrifical missions in the long run
Compassion is not pity it envokes a desire to serve
Love for other people and brokenness for the lost.
We need a fundamental commitment to what God is doing in the world.
1. Evangelism- Mark 16:15
2. Training- Matthew 28:18-21
3. Mercy ministry- Micah 6:8, Amos 5:21-24, Matthew 25:31-46
Christian Magna Carta
rights that are implicit in the gospel
1. Hear and understand the gospel
2. Bible available to every home 1 Timothy 4:13
3. Near by christian fellowship
4. Biblical christian education for the young
5. Basic rights for life and living

Tahlee
Spiritual Warfare.
Where to begin? This week was intense to the fullest definition.. We camped for 7 days at this beautiful campsite called Tahlee, about 40 minutes from Newcastle. It was the reginal leadership conference for YWAM so as a DTS we served them all week. We still had classes though with Kevin Frohlich, he is the teams director for YWAM Penang, Malaysia..where I happen to be going on outreach!
Wow! This man's testimony had all of our jaws on the floor by the end, talk about a spirtual warrior, he has dealt with demons not only as apart of his life but as apart of others as well. He has based a lifestyle on casting out demons when they manifest around him.
Our verses for this lecture were
"10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people." Ephesians 6:10-18
We were taught on the character of demons, their tactics and legal rights and how our authority in Christ can cast them out.
Satan's objectives deceive, disturb, depress, distress, despair, destroy

Fear of the Lord
Proverbs 22:4 "The fear of the Lord brings honor, wealth and life."
Book: God smuggler by Brother Andrew
"Most people are to christian to enjoy their sin, but there is to much sin in their lives to enjoy being a christian."
"The Holy Spirit alone can produce or induce this emotion in the human breast, it is a feeling rather than an idea. It is a deep reaction of a fallen creature in the presence of the holy being the stunned heart knows God." A.W. Tozer
Fear of the Lord is something that rises up in the presence of God.
"Therefore, since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God. " 2 Corinthians 7:1
The enemy's trick is to get you to put things off so you conveniently forget about it...ain't that the truth!
When we need to repent we respond with "Oh I can wait to fix it later, or I'll talk to so and so about it later" But God calls us to resolves things NOW not later!
We can't lead people into worhsip beyond where we have been, we can only go as far as we know.
FEAR OF THE LORD SETS YOU FREE FROM THE FEAR OF MAN
Conviction is always specific, condemnation is always general.
Why should we wait for God to humble us when it's going to happen anyway? Live in freedom of sins being forgiven and live in His presence
"The world is parishing for the lack of the knowledge of God and the church is vanished for the want of His presence." A.W. Tozer
If you are commited to walking in truth and holiness and cry out for the fear of the Lord, then it is the beginning of wisdom.
Lessons learned
This verse came to me as I was sitting in class today, I could not focus to much on the lesson but I was urning for God to speak to me somehow, to just give me a calming peace and this is what he showed me
"What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them garbage, that I may gain Christ 9 and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ—the righteousness that comes from God on the basis of faith. 10 I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, 11 and so, somehow, attaining to the resurrection from the dead.
12 Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. 13 Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus." Philippians 3:8-14
It's exactly what I needed to read! To not worry about finances, futures or pasts, friends, family that it is all in God's plan. I need to start listening for god's voice in the quiet places and not only try and listen when I need him. Like for finances I looked and got paid so I have $1000 saved for outreach but still need $2500 more! Don't know where that is coming from so I have no choice but to let go and trust God, which is hard because being vulnerable and patient is not my cup of tea!
Also, I joined the worship team:) last week I had my first morning on stage. It was amazing! I wasn't nervous at all. I've felt a calling to worship team for months but never felt like our church would allow me to join, but DTS is all about living it up, trying new things out of my comfort zone!!
We got a lesson on hearing God's voice.
There is a way to test if it's God speaking..
1. What you are sensing God is telling you doesn't correspond with what you read
2. Is it consistent with the character of Jesus
3. Will it's application bring peace and encouragement
4. Does it sit well in your spirit?
5. Do other circumstances confirm what you're hearing? Revelations are shared amoung many. Do others confirm it?
6. Does it lead to life or death?
7. Does it cause you to feel the anointing?
Good to use in time's of clarification :)
Character of God
Week 2
Maged Kalter (YWAM England base director)
Passion, life, transformational, divine confidence, freedom, forgiveness
-God wants us to focus on what He is doing rather than dwell on what He has not done yet.
"Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will." Romans 12:1-2
Nature of God
Omnipotent: No limit to His power. “I am the LORD, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?" Jeremiah 32:27
Omnicient: No limit to His knowledge. "Great is our Lord and mighty in power; his understanding has no limit." Psalm 147:5
Omnipresent: He is everwhere. “Am I only a God nearby,” declares the LORD, “and not a God far away? Who can hide in secret places so that I cannot see them?” declares the LORD. “Do not I fill heaven and earth?” declares the LORD." Jeremiah 23:23-24
Creator: uncreated but created everything
Transcendent: bigger than anything created. "Acknowledge and take to heart this day, that the LORD is God in heaven above and on the earth below. There is no other." Deuteronomy 4:39
Everlasting: No beginning Eternal: No end. "But the plans of the LORD stand firm forever, the purposes of his heart through all generations." Psalm 33:11
Unchanging
Personality of God= created in man's image
Speaks, feels, hears, plans, choice and thought
Character= What man ought to become
Love, holy, slow to anger, forgiving, gracious, faithful and trustworthy
"And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit." 2 Corinthians 3:18
The problem is not the presence of evil, it is the absence of glory.
"For you are a people holy to the LORD your God. The LORD your God has chosen you out of all the peoples on the face of the earth to be his people, his treasured possession." Deuteronomy 7:6

Father heart of God
Week 1
David Stephenson
Openness and brokenness.
The two words this week had dwelled on. It was an appointment with God.
Issues of identity: don't think by virtue of age that we have grown out of this.
Commitment to breakthrough: underneath we're little boys and girls hoping to make it in life.
Self perservation: we're all scared of getting hurt and being vulnerable
TAKE THE WORLD HEAD ON
"Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize." 1 Corinthians 9:24
If we are loved and accepted for who we really are, that is an image of people expressing the heart of God.
- One of the hardest things we can do is un-doing the personia of the outward person we have created.
GUILT VS. SHAME
Guilt- I've done something wrong
Shame- There's something wrong with me
I have never looked at these two words in such a way as this. It makes so much sense though, when we're guilty we go and seek out the reason of our guilt and how to make it right so we feel better and can please the Lord by working through the issue and using Him. With shame, however, we keep it to ourselves. We don't go looking after the reason because we never want to deal with things that might show what is wrong with us or issues that we aren't ready to deal with.
Summit. Childlikeness unlocks the heart of the Father.
"I thought to myself, 'I would love to treat you as my own children!' I wanted nothing more than to give you this beautiful land--the finest possession in the world. I looked forward to your calling me 'Father,' and I wanted you never to turn from me." Jeremiah 3:19
Your values of the community reflect the character of God, Belong-Believe-Behave.
So many times we get this order mixed up. Believe-Belong-Behave, but that's wrong. We want people to feel as though they are already part of the body of Christ, how we show them our love is how we show the Father's love. Once we get this step down the rest comes a bit easier, they start to yearn for such a passion and want to go more in depth into a relationship with the Lord (belief) and once they have that, they start to behave as the bible calls us to, they turn away from their old sin. They want to represent a people of God and not of the world.
The song Innocent by Taylor Swift is how we opened up our decision of the 3rd day of this week. It represents complete forgiveness, to humble oursleves and realize holding onto anger only drags us down.
God delivers us a second innocence.
"Jesus does not ask me to remain a child, but to become one"
1. Revelation (apokolupsis)
2. Metanoia (change of heart and mind)
3. Epistrepho (turning)
Our need is to mature into childlikeness
"Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.” And he took the children in his arms, placed his hands on them and blessed them." Mark 10:15-16
To end the week we had openness and brokenness session, everyone in our DTS was at thier most vulnerable state and we all shared our past and things we were hanging onto that either we needed forgiveness for or needed to forgive another for.
The verse that held me together
“On that day they will say to Jerusalem, “Do not fear, Zion; do not let your hands hang limp. The LORD your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.” “I will remove from you all who mourn over the loss of your appointed festivals, which is a burden and reproach for you. At that time I will deal with all who oppressed you. I will rescue the lame; I will gather the exiles. I will give them praise and honor in every land where they have suffered shame. At that time I will gather you; at that time I will bring you home. I will give you honor and praise among all the peoples of the earth when I restore your fortunes before your very eyes,” says the LORD.” Zephaniah 3:16-20

Benefit Dinner
Tonight I have my benefit dinner for YWAM. I am super nervous!! I am scared that not enough people will show up or that to many people will show up and there won't be enough chairs! I know I'm overthinking everything but I can't help it. You know when you just sit around and dwell on something for so long it drives you insane, you change your mind about it at least 50 times and somehow it still all works out exactly how it was suppose to? Ya, that's Jesus. I'm learning that I can't control everything on my own, I'm learning that I have to ask for help and I have to live out my faith and not just talk the talk. It is so hard to surrender! I know that is what he's calling me to do, and I know that once I do; funds, school, missions, my small group, church will not be an issue. So why can't I just give up?
Phillipians 3:13-15 states:
"Brethen, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus"
I dwell and reflect on those words. The thought that Jesus our Lord has my life planned if I let the past, present and future go to rely on Him is more than I can handle.
I know His next step for me is to be in Newcastle completely sitting in His presence and reflecting on His glory when I have no one else to turn to is the next step in my chapter.
