“But this is a people robbed and plundered; they are all of them snared in holes
and hidden in houses of bondage. They have become a prey, with no one to
deliver them, a spoil, with no one to say, Restore them!”
Isaiah 42:22

Slavery has not been abolished. Modern day slavery is very prevelant but just easily kept out of our local news.
After a trafficking journey that typically involves deception, rape, beatings, and constant threats, victims are often forced to live in confining and unsanitary conditions. Once formally put to work, human trafficking victims can be forced to service from 40 to 110 customers in one day1. Malnutrition, sleep deprivation, as well as emotional and physical abuse become part of the day-to-day routine.
In addition to the abuse, forced abortions and the contraction of STI's, Hepatitis B and C, and AIDS are ever looming probabilities. Life for a victim of sex trafficking is hell on earth. (A21campaign)
There are many different organizations that exist to stop the flow of human trafficking, all you have to do is look.
Just a few that I have found

All these links all have the same purpose behind their website..to get the word out for human rights.
This is a passion God has been revealing more and more to me. There is no excuse for the injustice that happens even in our own backyards!
It starts with us. All you have to do is start getting the word out there. Letting people know that these things still go on today and are not going to change unless we do something to change them.
You can donate money, time, energy or even a 'like' on facebook for the campaigns these people are doing.
"Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God. Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows." Luke 12:6-7
God made all of us with the same love. He does not choose one life over another, he loves all of us equally and he hurts when one of His creations is hurt. But you know what I think hurts the Lord more..is when we see that hurt, and knowing God's love and Jesus giving His life for human worth, do nothing about it! When we sit day in and day out on the couch going to our 8-5 job thinking that our life is nice and pleasent, and we thank God, but we don't realize He provided such blessings so we can go out and show those blessings to others.
True there are go'ers and send'ers, and so you feel content with your 8-5 job and know that going to a third world country to fight for injustice is not something that is your passion, you can still do your part in financial supporting the missionaries who are out of the field fighting phsyically for the issues. Even if it is not in your financial budget to do so, you can raise awareness in your hometowns. Pass out flyers, put on fundraisers, pray for each organization. There is no excuse on the planet that you can use to not be part of the Great Commission.
"There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work." 1 Corinthians 12:4-6
Love Is Indispensable
“Fifteen to eighteen percent of girls under twelve now wear mascara, eyeliner and lipstick regularly; eating disorders are up and self-esteem is down; and twenty-five percent of young American women would rather win America’s Next Top Model than the Nobel Peace Prize. Even bright, successful college women say they’d rather be hot than smart. A Miami mom just died from cosmetic surgery, leaving behind two teenagers. This keeps happening, and it breaks my heart. Teaching girls that their appearance is the first thing you notice tells them that looks are more important than anything. It sets them up for dieting at age 5 and foundation at age 11 and boob jobs at 17 and Botox at 23. As our cultural imperative for girls to be hot 24/7 has become the new normal, American women have become increasingly unhappy. What’s missing? A life of meaning, a life of ideas and reading books and being valued for our thoughts and accomplishments.”— “How To Talk To Little Girls” by Lisa Bloom.:
